平成24年4月30日から5月3日までの4日間にわたり「2012 International Conference on Winter Maintenance and Surface Transportation Weather（2012年・冬期道路管理及び陸上交通気象に関する国際会議）」が、TRB（Transportation Research Board、米国交通輸送研究委員会）の主催により、Iowa Department of Transportation（アイオワ州交通局） 、AASHTO（米国全州道路交通運輸行政官協会）、ＦＨＷＡ（連邦道路庁）の協力の下で、米国アイオワ州・コーラルビルで開催されました。
